Day 1
Day (1)

Two to three hours walk from Kalaw to Reservoir through pine and big subtropical tress. After a break at the Reservoir we will hike up to Viewpoint through a narrow jungle path of the trek we will be walking on the rail road. Then we will reach Ywar Pu where that will give you a wonderful experience if you love wandering in the jungle. After about two hours hike we will have lunch at Viewpoint which is also known as the Nepalese Resting Place. Chapatti is their specialty. From Viewpoint to a Palaung village called Hin Khar Kone is a one hour walk on the bull cart trail. We can observe the villagers there and if we’re lucky we might be invited into their houses for tea which the Palaung people are very famous for. We will trek through Myin Daik Village and part delicious traditional Danu cuisine is served as dinner and spend the night there.

Day 2
Day (2)

After breakfast we will continue our trek from Ywar Pu and walk through Lamine, Nan Aww and Paw Kae villages mainly on the bull cart path. We will walk through fields and we’ll see plants grown by the Danu or Pa O people living in the vicinity. The plants we see will differ according to the season. We will reach Kone Hla where lunch will be served at a village house. Before sundown we will arrive Pat Tu Pauk where we will rest for the night. If we walk fast enough there is a spot at the village where we can enjoy the sunset with beer and just chill. (I was once told by a tourist that the sunset from up there is way more beautiful than Bagan’s.)

Day 3
Day(3)

After breakfast we will continue our trek from Pat Tu Pauk to Inle by walking through Kyauk Su and Nan Yote Village on the bull cart road. After Nan Yote to Tone Lae, we can take an off-road path if we do not wish to take the bull cart road. Lunch will be served at a local restaurent in Tone Lae Village.
