Active Myanmar is a 21-days long journey to Myanmar, designed to dive more into is minor ethnic groups and their cultures. Along with the big four tour attractions, which are Yangon, Mandalay, Bagan and Inle Lake, Active Myanmar offers more adventurous activities like trekking, riding boat along streams and exploratory activities to Palaung tribes, Kayan tribes and other Shan miniorities.

Arriving day to Myanmar, upon your arrival time private car would be taken to Moeyungyi Resort where you can relax beside lake and watching birds. It takes around 2 hours drive from Yangon international Airport.

After breakfast at hotel it is 3 hours drive to Kyiteyoe, Golden Rock. From the base station it needs to take local truck to the hill. Visitors who spend the night or near the pagoda will be well amazed to see the ethereal sight of the setting or rising sun illuminating the gilded boulder, which is one of the most pilgrim site in Myanmar along with the Shwedagon Pagoda in Yangon and the Mahamuni Temple in Mandalay. From Kinpun to Pagoda we have to take local truck, not other options to arrive there except trekking. Overnight on the mountain and the night sense is not unforgettable.

Early morning after breakfast down the base station by local truck again and drive to Hpa-an, lay beside on the banks of the Thanlwin River, beauty of landscape and rice paddies surrounded the town. On the way we will take time at 7th century artwork of Kawgun Cave is a secret gallery of Buddhist art and sculpture and mentioned the most beautiful one in Kayin state. And go on our next stop to Hpa-ann.

Hiking to summit takes two-hour may need more energy than you think as before, but it is worth at the top with astonishing views, a tiny monastry with a stupa and possible to join complimentary lunch. Local believe that 2372 ft is also a place for spirits and saintly souls. Hpa-an is the chance to explore the countryside, where numerous Kayin villages, amazing caves, and possible climb up jungle-draped Mount. Saddar Cave, 27 km from Hpa-an, the biggest in this area. Starting from narrow staircases through a series of Buddha status and beautiful rock formations to the end a small lake is a amazing experience.

After breakfast at hotel travel back to yangon to catch flight to Heho. Around 30 mins drive to Kalaw from airpot, once a hillstation during colonial era because of its cool climate. Overnight at Kalaw.

From Kalaw there it remain around 230 km to Loikaw. Take lunch-stop at small town and then you will be there at evening. This place is not popular among tourist, but Padaung people, mentioned giraffe-women, and it beautiful nature are famous. The Kayan women were well known for their form of dress, wearing neck rings, coils that are placed around the neck.

Today you will know about the life of Padaung ethnic people with long necked women. After 1 hour drive start our trekking to one of their village, Ram Ku Hamlet, where you can greet Padaung women and discover their tradition and culture. The Kayan women were well known for their form of dress, wearing neck rings, coils that are placed around the neck. The trip required slow and comfortable walk for 5 to 6 hours.

We travel to Inle lake, one of Myanmar's must-sees for its natural and numerous village of Intha, means 'sons of the lake'. We take bus to Pekhong from where we will take boat to the direction Inle lake. Along the way we will stop at interesting places such a village with many pagodas and a place of weaving lotus. Get there at evening, relex at hotel with pool.

Inle lake,'leg-rowing' fisherman, floating garden, where 70,000 Intha live around the shore of the lake. Intha origin from Dawei far south of Myanmar settle here between 18th century coflict between Burmese and Thais. They are skilled fishermen also carpenters and metalworkers. Morning to evening differnet villages arond the Inle lake will give you enjoyable memory of Kaung Daing, Nga-Hpe Kuaung (Jumping cat Monestry) and Ywama. and Phaung Daw U Pagoda. Learning about the community's economy through hand-made cigar factories and silversmiths will be a highlight of this trip and floating gardens (tomatos and other corps) will give you a glimpse of the agriculture of "Inle" people.

In the next morning, after breakfast at hotel, you will experience local cooking experience with Burmese cooking class. Morning Market and cooking local cuisine will make you feel the authentic “Inn” experience. After lunch at cooking class, will take an adventure horse ride at Inle Horse Club. A horse ride behind Shan hills will be one true memory for life. And spend the evening at Red Mountain Winery seeing breathtaking sunset scene.

In the morning, transfer to Mandalay by bus. It takes around 7 hours from the mountain to the flat land of Burma, Mandalay, the culture capital and second city of Myanmar was found in 1857 as Kongbaung capital till third Anglo-Burmese war 1885. Upon our arrival of time, have phonomenal view from the Mandalay Hill and enjoy sunset.

One of Myanmar's famous Maharmuni Pagoda, seated Buddha image, is star attraction in Mandalay. People believes that it is 2000 years old and original from Mauk U, was seized in 1784. Gold leaf has been pressed on to the figure and now entirely covered in 6 inches pure gold, however Buddha's face remain gleaming. A trip up the Ayeyarwaddy to Mingun, where unfinished Pogoda start in 1790 only the buttom third complete anyhow still a huge structure is described world's largest pile of brick. King Bodawpaya's biggest-his-best obsession built not only his immense Pogoda as well as his bronze bell, world largest uncracked bell. Mandalay Palace (Mya Nan San Kyaw) was constract between 1857 and 1859 by King Mindon and the seat of the last two rulers. During world war II much of the palace was destroyed what we see today was rebuilt with modern material but to gain a sense of the architectural splendor of Mindon’s time. Nan Myin Watchtower is one of the few original fort buildings to survive the Allied bombings of World War II. Kuthodaw Pogoda, at the base of Mandalay Hill, is famous for the world largest book. Buddhist scripture 'Tipitaka' inscript onto 1,774 stone tablets, each in its own miniature stupa. Shwenandaw Monastery, part of personal apartments of King Mindon within the palace wall, is small remaining one of Konbaung Dyansty’s Golden Palace, survived in World War II because after Mindon died the building was transformed to monastery and moved to this current site. This glorious teak construction is most notable for intricate woodcarving of ornamental figures or flowers adorn most of its surfaces. Atumashi Kyaung, one of the most beautiful buildings in all of Mandalay, once European visitors noted it splendor.

Bagan is the hightlight of the region and heartland of the great Burmese empire, whose made exquisite Pogodas and temples in an impressive abundant of architecture. After breakfast transfered you to the capital of Myanmar, Naypyidaw. It is enough to city tour within half day. You don't want to worry about traffice jam, stay feel free along the 8 lane street. Start this project in 2000, and become the capital of Myanmar. This is not the the famous place for tourist but you can feel and imagine the other side of Myanmar. Overnight at Naypyidaw.

From the newly highway lane from Naypyidaw to Yangon. It takes around 4 hours to get there. After check-in at hotel going to spend beautiful evening at the Shwedagon Pogoda.

It is no more capital since 2005 but remain in principle and the largest urban area with 5 million around and largest collection of colonial architecture in Southeast Asia. Today discovering through the city from the Shwedagon pagoda, the perfect symbol of a country and the most pilgrime site in Myanmar to the colonial era district downtown.

At early moring make a short trip to Dalah, the other side of Yangon river by boat. It offers you opposite sence from Yangon just 10 mins away. After lunch the time belong to you, may be shopping at Bo Kyoge Aung San Marke.
